Remington Rand / Essex Arms 1911 – .45 ACP – U.S. GI-style 1911 pistol chambered in .45 ACP, built on an Essex Arms Corp. frame (Island Pond, VT) and fitted with a Remington Rand marked slide. Overall fair condition. The finish shows moderate wear throughout, including handling marks, thinning, and surface blemishes consistent with use. Some discoloration is visible near the frame markings. The grips show typical wear but remain solid and serviceable. This is not an all-original WWII Remington Rand pistol, but rather a period-style assembled 1911 utilizing an Essex commercial frame and Remington Rand slide. It offers the classic GI look and feel at a more accessible price point than an original matching military example. .45
