"Serial No. M44053762 (importer), manufactured in 1945 at the Izhevsk Arsenal. Chambered in 7.62×54R with a 20 ½" round barrel, the bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Serial numbers have been postwar arsenal force-matched. This carbine remains in overall very good condition, showing only light handling impressions consistent with storage and service. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
