"Serial number 562171B. Made in 1902. 22 Short caliber with a 24“ barrel. This is a very fine example of a 22 rifle. For whatever reason, these were used hard and are typically found with little to no finish. The barrel and frame have approximately 50% of the original blue. The wood is very good as well. The hammer still has around 50% of the case colors. The bore has strong rifling and is dark.
