"Serial number E2031. Made in 1924 with a 29-inch barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. The rear sight assembly is marked in Arabic numerals which indicates that the rifle was sold to Turkey. Overall condition is very good although the original factory finish on the metallic parts has thinned to bare metal on the receiver & the barrel. The walnut furniture looks great but it exhibits the type of dings & dents that one expects to see on former military service rifle. The buttstock is numbered to the gun & the handguard is matching in color & condition. Comes with a leather adjustable sling & a 15.75-inch cleaning rod.
