Description:
Very nice 1958 Browning A5 20 gauge 2 3/4". First year of production for the 20 gauge Auto 5 and you just don’t come across them very often in this condition. A couple of handling marks but just a beautiful piece of Automatic 5 history. Wood is nice and crack free and bluing is very good. The FN Belgian barrel is 28” with a modified choke and fires 2 3/4” shells, along with a White Line Pachmeyer butt pad. The barrel/barrel address are correct for a 1958 but the stock is a later replacement. In 1958 the first one of these didn’t ship till October so you will have a hard time finding an Auto-5 20ga 2 3/4" first year production in this condition again. **haveing "vent rib" in the description is incorrect, it is not a vent rib.
