Description:
The Czech Small Arms VZ 52 is a semi-automatic military rifle chambered in 7.62x45mm. It features a 20-inch barrel and a detachable magazine system, though the magazine is not present. The barrel and receiver have a blued finish and the receiver is marked “SHE” for the Uherský Brod factory. Both front and rear sights have been removed. The rifle incorporates a one-piece wooden stock running nearly the full length of the firearm with a finger groove along the forearm and a permanently attached folding bayonet at the front endcap.
This rifle is used and shows wear consistent with service use and age. The barrel has a good bore, while the exterior surfaces display rust and finish wear typical of older military rifles. The stock exhibits bumps, dents, and scratches but remains structurally sound. The model VZ 52 was produced between 1952 and 1959 before being replaced by the VZ 52/57 variant chambered for 7.62x39mm, making surviving examples of the original 7.62x45mm configuration relatively uncommon. The rifle bears an import mark and serial number R62900.
Included is the rifle as configured, with its fixed bayonet and wooden furniture. The buttplate and magazine are missing, and the rifle retains its original wood handguard. No sights are installed. Replacement parts for this model remain available through various sources. This configuration represents the standard military pattern from its production era at the Uherský Brod facility.

  • Local pickup is available and will require completion of ATF Form 4473 and a successful background check.
  • A three (3) day non-firing inspection period is provided on all firearms. Once the firearm has been transferred from your receiving FFL, it is considered your property and is no longer eligible for return except as outlined below.
  • Shipping Damage: Firearms must be inspected immediately upon receipt. Any shipping damage must be reported immediately so it may be addressed appropriately.
  • Listing Accuracy: Every effort is made to ensure listings are accurate. If there is a discrepancy in the listing or you believe an item was misrepresented, please contact us promptly.
  • Returns: Returns are accepted with the buyer responsible for all return shipping costs. Returns for reasons other than verified shipping damage or confirmed listing discrepancies are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Condition of Returns: All returned firearms must be unfired, unmodified, and in the same condition as when originally shipped, including all original packaging and accessories.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Ammunition, magazines, and accessories are not eligible for return.
  • Legal Responsibility: The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring the firearm is legal to own in their jurisdiction. Orders that cannot be completed due to legal restrictions or failed background checks may be subject to return shipping costs and applicable fees.
  • Payment Terms: Credit card payments must be made within seven (7) days of close.
  • Check Payments: Checks must be mailed within fourteen (14) days and received within twenty-one (21) days of close. Additional time may be allowed for holidays.
  • Layaway Option: A 60-day layaway is available under the following terms:
    • One-third (1/3) of the purchase price is due immediately.
    • One-third (1/3) of the purchase price is due within thirty (30) days.
    • The final one-third (1/3) payment is due within sixty (60) days.
    • If any payment is more than thirty (30) days late, all payments made will be forfeited and the item will be relisted for sale with no exceptions.
