Description:
Serial #NSN, .22 LR, 18 inch barrel with a fine, frosted bore with light roughness good rifling. This is the J. Stevens Arms Co. model No 14 ½ Little Scout take down rifle with rolling breechblock action manufactured circa 1909-36. In excellent condition the barrel shows 90-95% original thinning blue with some light use marks and scratches near the breech. The frame shows fading case-colors that is toning to plum-brown. The stock and forearm rate about excellent with a slight stable surface crack running with the grain at the wrist. The action functions properly with a tight lock up and crisp trigger pull. A high condition Little Scout. FFL or C&R
