Description:

U.S. M1 Carbine manufactured during World War II by Quality Hardware & Machine Co. and fitted with a Winchester-manufactured 18" barrel having an unmarked front sight bracketed by arched protective ears, the undated Winchester-marked barrel with a "haloed" "W," "WP," and "P". Chamber is marked "U.S. CARBINE / CAL .30 M1". Flip rear sight, left side of base marked with an "S", the right side with a "B-Q". Flat blued bolt. Rear of receiver marked "QUALITY H.M.C / 1930845". Late form Type B barrel band, unmarked, with wide aperture. Magazine release marked "E/P-Q". The high wood walnut early stock with I-cut is stamped “RMC” in the sling well, the right side of the buttstock with a large ordnance wheel, unmarked checkered buttplate. Disassembly shows the interior of the handguard marked “Q-RMC.” The right side of the trigger guard is marked "Q-NL", the left side of the hammer is marked "LT-Q". Complete with oiler and green khaki military sling.
