Description:
Winchester Model 21, 16 gauge SxS shotgun. Made in 1953 this original, high condition Model 21 has 28" solid rib barrels, factory choked Mod/Full with 2 3/4" chambers.
Single selective trigger, automatic safety, beavertail forearm, pistol grip stock
Technically this is a "field" grade gun but the buttstock is very handsomely grained on both sides! The stock has a 14 1/8" length of pull to the factory butt plate. 1 5/8" of drop at the comb and 2 3/4" drop at the heel with neutral cast.
Mechanically excellent and very tight. Cosmetically the finishes are all original and except for a spot "thinning" on the floor plate the blue finishes are 97-98%. The wood finish is also in the 97-98% range with very few light handling marks.
