A masterful custom Sako L461 Vixen chambered in .222. Built by Daniel May of Classic Custom Gun Stocks and beautfully engraved by Robert Strosin.
This rifle leaves nothing to the imagination from the engraved, hooded front sight, to the engraved barrel band sling swivel to the safari style rear sight with one standing leaf and one folding leaf, to the finely engraved and case colored receiver, to the engraved and gold inlayed bottom metal. Then on to the wood with the finely checkered swept pistol grip, the perfectly fitted engraved, hinged butt plate ande the inletted rear swivel. LOP is 13 5/8"
Just nothing short of a premier example of a bespoke custom rifle.
The gun weighs 8 lbs. 4 oz. with the Zeiss Scope and it is unfired since built. 2026 replacement cost would be nearing $19k+
