Colt .41 Colt Serial number 55846 MFG 1886.
- Barrel clearly marked with Colts 2 line address.
- Left side of the frame is marked with Colt's 3 line patent information with "41 Cal" marked on the left side of the trigger guard web.
- Colt checkered brown rubber grips.
- Standard half moon front sight.
- Matching numbers on frame, trigger guard and rear grip strap.
- Grips are matching via "4283) in pencil on the panels interior.
- Metal components retain fair amounts of reapplied blue finish. Areas of wear fading to gray patina with light surface oxidation.
- Ejector rod hausing has a small crack from the screw slot to the tip.
- Bore has mild fo moderate pitting retaining strong rifling throughout.
- Proper manual mechanics with slight cylinder play. Grips show some smoothing and superficial marks from handling with the right panel exhibiting a chip along the backstrap.
