This Mike Sawmiller Engraved Colt 1911, remains in excellent condition/ as engraved. The frame was originally manufactured in 1916. I am not sure exactly when it was engraved, it was commisioned by my consignors father who had Mike engrave it with 95+ percent coverage. Mike Unfortunetly Passed away back in November, his engraving is very well executed on any piece that I have had the pleasure to examine.
