Ralf Martini Custom Stalking Big Game Rifle in .375 Holland and Holland
If you are gun collector or shooter of high-quality custom rifles, you know the name – Ralf Martini. He is a classically trained custom gun maker that is ranked in the top echelons in his craft. For years he built some of the finest custom rifles in North America from his gunshop in Canada but has recently relocated back to Germany and is working for Hartman and Weiss. He is known for meticulous detail in machining, action fitting and stock making.
This rifle is built on a highly customized BRNO ZG47 action and features Ralf’s famous fully integral barrel that’s half octagon, half round, with a raised quarter rib, full rib, and raised front sight base. The action’s been modified with the addition of a recoil stop on the front square bridge, custom bottom metal, an Oberndorf bolt handle, three position safety and Blackburn adjustable trigger. The action is color case hardened, with nitre blued extractor and bolt stop spring. The barrel is beautifully rust blued. The Swarovski Z6i 1.7-10x42 scope is held by Alaska Arms Rings that were customized by Ralf.
“.375 H&H” and “Martini Gunmakers Canada” logo engraved on barrel with gold inlay. Two gold bands are on the breech end of the barrel and the bolt sleeve features a gold “F.” The Floor plate is engraved with “Martini Gunmakers” logo and a border.
Exhibition grade Turkish walnut, featuring an ebony forend tip, steel grip cap, and engraved crossbolt. Feed and function are flawless as you would expect.
The rifle is in New/Unfired condition other than test firing by Ralf. There are two very small marks in the stock. Please see the closeup pictures of the areas. On the left side of the stock just under the bolt release, and on the toe line of the butt.
The rifle ships in a Pelican case to your FFL.
