Description:
This is a very early gun that was manufactured and shipped in 1886. The configuration checks out according to the Cody record. The barrel and mag were probably shortened, barrel length isnt listed on the letter but its currently about 22" which is carbine lenght and this is a rifle. Action is crisp and tight, bore is clean with good rifling. Wood to metal finish is excellent. All factory markings are clear. Traces of original silver finish on the receiver. No license needed to buy except NJ and NY residents.
