Description:
This Winchester Model 23 Golden Quail / Pigeon Grade is a side-by-side, break-action shotgun chambered in 20 gauge. It features 25.5 inch barrels and a two-round capacity. The barrels are fitted with a vent rib and fixed chokes configured as Imp Cylinder and Mod. The original hang tag is still in the luggage and it has a great breakdown of attributes and specifications. Just check out the pictures and you will find the hang tag specs on the last one. . The receiver displays the Golden Quail engraving on its underside, identifying this shotgun as a special variation within the Model 23 line. The action operates through a single selective trigger finished in gold.
The shotgun is previously owned but you wouldn't know it. I see no indications of either wear or damage of any kind. The walnut stock and forend show fine grain patterning and a polished finish consistent with the Model 23 Golden Quail configuration. Metal components exhibit the factory blued finish with engraved accents around the frame and trigger guard. The break-action mechanism and overall layout follow Winchester’s traditional double-barrel design for this model, emphasizing balance and compact handling in the 20-gauge format.Priced to sell at 3850.00.
