Fabulous Factory Engraved 12 GA Ithaca Grade 4E Single Barrel Trap Shotgun with 34 inch Barrel!
This Ithaca Gun Co. Grade 4E Single Barrel Trap shotgun is a 12-gauge, single-shot firearm built with a 34-inch blued steel barrel. It features a matted vent rib with dual bead sights and a chamber length of 2¾ inches, equipped with an automatic ejector. The barrel carries factory engraving details including stars at the chamber sides and a choke constriction of .031 inch. The action is casehardened and finely engraved with floral scroll motifs depicting a hunter with an Ithaca shotgun on one side and a Native American archer on the other.
Stock furniture consists of a figured walnut beavertail forend with multi-point checkering and engraved iron, paired with a fleur-de-lis checkered English style stock terminating in a newer accellerator recoil pad. The adjustable comb was accomplished by William Skinner who does absolutely top notch work. Not original you say? Yes but it will fit you at the range, guaranteed and it'll be cheaper than adding or subtracting a vertibrae. This shotgun is used and retains its original engraved and finished components. The wood shows minor handling marks with checkering that remains well defined. Metal surfaces display light handling evidence consistent with prior use.
