Description:
This is a very good example in brown leather, configured to carry the pistol butt forward. A single belt loop of medium width is stitched on the reverse and positioned to carry the pistol vertically on the belt, not angled. A heavily tooled double line fern motif borders the edge with half round row behind it. The leather is in very good condition, some bending fatigue half way down the barrel area with tight stitching except at the top of the belt loop. This holster was designed to cover the entirety of the revolver with only the handle exposed. Fit one of our Colt 1851 Navy perfectly.;
