Description:
This sale offers a very good old classic. This A. H. Fox CE grade, serial number 27194, was manufactured in early 1921 and is equipped with 30” barrels chambered for 2 ½” shells and choked about IC and Mod. The case colors on the receiver have turned to a warm, silvery patina. The CE grade engraving remains sharp. The barrels are marked Chromox Fluid Compressed Steel and retain nearly 95% of the blue finish. The stock and splinter forearm have been professionally refinished and remain excellent. The gun has very shootable dimensions with an LOP of 14 ½”, DAC is 1 3/8” and DAH is 1 ½”. Mechanically, the gun locks up tight, the barrels are on face and the ejectors function perfectly. For you vintagers out there, with the stock dimensions and choking, the gun would be right at home on a clay target course.
