Winchester Model 1897 12 Gauge Pump Action Shotgun, 21" FACTORY CYLINDER BORE BARREL and a factory metal buttplate. This shotgun was built in 1927.
This shotgun has had an action job by the renounded Cowboy Action Shooter/Gunsmith "Coyote Cap". Coyote Cap is the gunsmith who helped Norenco with pre-production engineering of their Model 1897 shotgun.
The gun has been refinished but it was many years ago (at lease 30 years). For the last 25 years this Model 97 has been used as a Cowboy Action Shotgun. For its age this shotgun is in very good condition and the action functions flawlessly.
