Rare variation of the Tokagypt 58, made in 1969 by FEG in Hungary for an Egyptian contract of 30,000 pistols, the contract was cancelled after a little over 13,000 so the remaining pistols that were being manufactured were finished as commercial guns made for export with 6 different variations produced identified by their slide markings. This is the rarest variations marked WEST GERMANY as well as given the model name FIREBIRD with only 3000 of these ever made. This one is in superb condition for the age with only some light wear and small areas of patina with an excellent bore. The frame, slide, barrel AND MAGAZINE all have matching serial numbers.
