Offered here for sale and just acquired is this vintage popular Keltec .32 semi-auto pistol.
The Kel?Tec P?32 is a very small .32 ACP pocket pistol designed by Swedish-American firearms engineer George Kellgren and introduced in 1999 by Kel?Tec CNC Industries in Florida.
Key characteristics:
  • Caliber: .32 ACP (7.65 Browning)
  • Capacity: 7-round magazine (7+1 with chambered round)
  • Weight: about 6.6 oz unloaded, extremely light for a pistol
  • Action: locked-breech, short-recoil design
  • Purpose: concealed carry / backup gun for police or civilians
Before the P-32, most tiny .32 pistols used simple blowback operation, which required heavier slides and stronger recoil springs.
The P-32 used a locked-breech Browning-style system (like larger service pistols). This allowed:
  • lighter slide
  • softer recoil
  • very thin and lightweight design
That innovation helped make it one of the smallest and lightest centerfire pistols ever mass-produced, which is why it became popular as a “pocket gun.”
It also became the design basis for several later micro-pistols including Sturm Ruger who adopted all of its pocket pistol to this design namely the Ruger LCP (introduced 2008) in .380.
Even today it remains one of the lightest centerfire pistols in production. This specimen has only seen slight use.
