Attractive, high polish and all-matching Danish military M49 SIG pistol with near mirror bore and correct manual mechanics. A classic original finish pistol for the serious collector!
Description:
Relatively scarce first variation Danish contract M49, cal. 9mmP, high polish blue with drift adjustable front and rear sights, serial range 1-16607 made between 1948-1951. Left side of slide with SIG logo. Left frame is marked with the cal, model reference, and crown/HTK. The full serial number "8008" is on the right side of the barrel, slide, frame, and original matching hammer group with no half cock. Wood serrated grips secured with a single transverse fire blued screw. Lanyard ring present. Blued, matte finished magazine.
Condition:
VG+ with sharp edge and holster wear in usual locations. Front strap with a few scratches but minimal thinning. Original grips with scattered handling marks, the right panel with more oil-darkening. Comparable condition magazine. Near mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
