This nice looking custom Mauser X 243 was probably never used after its build. The gent who owned it was a custom stock maker; we never knew him but have had many of his guns and the work on eatch has been flawless:
24" sporter weight barrel (maker unknown) with open sights and on piece Redfield base with rings, ready for you're hunt. Brightly polished floor plate and bolt show no sign of being handled or used.
Checkering is very sharp and perfec to our eye.
Nice Rosewood or similar forend tip with matching pg cap (if this were ours we would eliminate the exagerated pg cap and install a traditional one (easily done with a fine bladed hack saw). Shadow line raised cheek piece for a right handed shooter.
