This is a Springfield Armory M1 Garand rifle in .308/7.62 NATO caliber. It has had a barrel conversion by Arlington Ordinance installing the 18-inch .308/7.62 barrel. The barrel is in verry good condition inside and out. The wood stock and for end are in very good condition with a black weatherproof coating. The action is smooth and tight. The trigger is military grade. The sights are in very good condition. Overall, this is a very good-looking gun in very good working order. The gun shows very light use. This Tanker would make a good addition to an M1 collection and could be used for target shooting. If you have been looking for an M1 Tanker, take a close look at this gun.
