The Mossberg Patriot in 6.5 PRC with a 24" barrel is a bolt-action rifle designed to capitalize on the high-velocity, long-range capabilities of the "6.5 Creedmoor on steroids" cartridge. This specific 24-inch barrel length is standard for the 6.5 PRC chambering across the Patriot line to maximize ballistic performance. A 24-inch fluted, threaded barrel (5/8"-24 TPI) featuring a recessed match crown to protect the rifling and improve consistency. Equipped with the patented LBA (Lightning Bolt Action) trigger, which can be adjusted by the user from 2 to 7 pounds for a crisp, personalized pull. Features a spiral-fluted bolt and an oversized bolt handle for smooth cycling and a secure grip, even when wearing gloves. 6.5 PRC
