Savage. Model 99EG lever action rifle. Cal. 300 Sav. 24 “ barrel with an excellent bore. Lever boss code C dates manufacture at 1952. Pistol grip cap, checkered Schnabel forend and butt stock. Lever retains much of its original case color. Barrel approximately 95% of its original blue finish. Receiver approximately 75% blue with most wear at carry point. wood is in very fine condition. Mechanically excellent. Overall a beautiful 99 with lots of original finish. Serial 648494
