Description:
The Sako 85 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield and manufactured in Finland. It features a 22-inch fluted barrel without sights and a synthetic stock in black finish. The rifle incorporates Sako’s controlled-round feed bolt system and detachable magazine design. The barrel and receiver share a uniform finish consistent with the factory configuration, and the rifle’s overall setup reflects the standard Sako 85 pattern with capped synthetic furniture and integral recoil pad.
This rifle is used and described as unfired. The barrel, receiver, and action surfaces retain their original finish, with only minor handling marks noted on the synthetic stock. The factory black rubber recoil pad is intact. The bore and bolt assembly are in unfired condition, consistent with a rifle that has not seen range use. The 22.5-inch fluted barrel contributes to reduced weight while maintaining rigidity typical of the Sako 85 series.
Included with the rifle are the original factory box and one detachable magazine. The magazine utilizes Sako’s proprietary release system, which requires pressing the release button while pushing the magazine inward to remove it—an arrangement designed to reduce accidental release. The rifle bears serial number H32230 and was produced in Finland. No additional accessories or modifications are noted beyond the standard factory configuration.
