Here is a Colt New Service made in the early 20s. Good bore, action works fine, finish is so-so. The barrel and lettering are fine but the action may have been cold blued. Grips are some aftermarket plastic that fit tight but not well. If it were a gun I was keeping I'd go to River Junction Trading Company and get some better fitting ones. It will make some one a good shooter and the .38-40 pretty well duplicates the balliatics of the popular .40 for semi-autos. Shipping and insurane included in the price. Please, no texts.
