This is a good solid rifle for someone that wants to hunt with a low recoiling classic quality American made lever action that could probably tell some hunting stories whether the quest is for deer, hogs or bear. These very accurate top fed 99s have a different style than the tube fed lever actions like Winchester, Marlin, or Henry with collectability.
