Original Antique Remington Police model cartridge conversion revolver in 22 caliber nickel plated with holster. This model was introduced by Remington in 1863 as a medium frame revolver based on the Remington model 1858. These were originally 36 caliber percussion. The conversion probably took place in the 1870's. It still retains the majority of its Nickel plating. The wood grips are in good condition. the cylinder does not usually revolve when the hammer is pulled back but can be revolved by hand. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
