Item Description: For sale on Consignment is an outstanding Browning BDA 380 (Double Action .380) semi-automatic pistol in bright nickel finish with factory walnut grips. This compact, blowback-operated DA/SA design was manufactured by Pietro Beretta for Browning/FN, featuring a slide-mounted safety/decocker, fixed sights, smooth aluminum alloy frame, and crisp slide serrations. The bright, high-polish nickel plating is glossy and highly reflective, complementing the rich, checkered walnut grips with inset Browning medallions. Photos document the pistol in exceptional, near-mint condition: mirror-bright bore with sharp rifling, pristine chamber and feed ramp, clean internals, tight slide-to-frame fit, and no visible wear, pitting, scratches, or holster marks. This example carries serial number MN01578 (box labeled in 425MN01578 format). Browning‚s post-1975 two-letter date code system decodes MN as 2009 (M=0, N=9). Official main production of the BDA 380 ended in 1997 (after running from 1977), but this pistol originates from a limited post-discontinuation revival/special run in the mid-to-late 2000s (primarily bright/polished nickel finishes like this one, often distributed through retailers such as Cabela‚s).
