Description:
Here we have an Antique Marlin 1895 Semi Deluxe Rifle. It's year of manufacture was in 1898 so she ships right to your door. The Rifle is chambered in the fan favorite 45-70. It has a "rare" for the Model 1895 ROUND BARREL 26" long. Full magazine tube. Pistol grip checked stocks. As well as a cresent butt plate. Rifle functions as it should. I ran a few rounds through her on Feb 17th 2026. . I used this gun to shoot a Bison last year. it's not easy to let this one go.This was my shooting gun, along with the Marlin 1895 45-90 I have listed. the bore has full riflleing all through the barrel, there is some roughness throughout. Still a very good bore for age of the gun. The blueing on e the barrel and magazine tube is starting to turn to a pleasing plumb color. The case colored reciever, trigger, buttplate, and lever are going to plumb as well. The wood fits very well to the reciever. the checking on the stock is very goodyet, the checking on the forearm has flattened some on the bottom. this is typical for checked guns that have seen some use. Please look at all the pictures. it's time to start thinning some of the herd. Also listed is a Marlin 1895 in 45-90
