Description:
A very slim, light, A. Francotte made, Martini action, sporting rifle. At just over 5 lbs., it has a 28" round barrel, a quarter rib and Rook rifle sights. The entire action is hand detachable by rotating the small lever on the right side of the action. It is in British caliber .297/.230 Morris short CF. Last photo shows original .297/.230 and a reformed case from a .22 Hornet ( Ctgs. not included in this listing). Brass can be made from .22 hornet. All original metal and wood finishes exist, with some blue fading to brown on the barrel. Please examine the photos to determine condition. Checks or USPS money orders only accepted.
