RARE FACTORY ENGRAVED Remington collectors will know that E (Expert) Grade gun are among the most rare and considerably less common than F Grades. This Beauty has almost no sign of being carried or used, all metal is nearly perfect with only modest evidence of handling on the handsome nicely figured and beautiuflly checkered stocks. Some very light frostion visible in some areas
28" mod barrel is serialized to the gun (we have a 12 ga solid rib barrel for a Rem 31...inquire). 31's are known to be perhaps the most smooth (action) of any pump shotgun ever made. These (all 31's) had a limited run from approx 1939 to 1948. This a late production from approx 1948.
It weighs just a hair over 7 lbs , and is 13 1/2 to end of a very old pad. Drop is 1 1/2 and 2 1/2
