Description:
The Taurus PT99 AF is a double-action/single-action (DA/SA) handgun designed for duty use, home defense, and range shooting. It features a frame-mounted safety/decocker, allowing the pistol to be carried either with the hammer down for double-action or “cocked and locked” with the hammer back.
One of the main differences between the PT99 and similar Taurus models is its micrometer-adjustable rear sight, which can be tuned for windage and elevation to improve shooting accuracy with different ammunition.
The pistol has an aluminum alloy frame and steel slide, making it durable while keeping weight manageable for a large service pistol.
