POST WAR WALTHER P38 COLD WAR 12/59 DATE 9MM SERIAL NUMBER: 080056 BARREL: 4" CALIBER: 9 MM MANUFACTURED: 1959 Import marked on the frame. A 1959-dated Walther P38 is a desirable early post-war West German pistol, often featuring an aluminum alloy frame and marked "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do" on the slide. These 1959 models, produced shortly after production resumed in 1957, often exhibit high-quality, pre-P1 (modernized) transitional features, with some being imported with original holsters and magazines. CONDITION: Metal is 98% original finish with all correct proofs showing. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Correct magazine but is dated 9/62. Grips are very good with scuff on left panel. 9MM
