Description:
Charles Lancaster started in the firearms business as a barrel maker then went independent forming the firearms company in 1826. He designed and influenced many parts of the firearm trade and has some popular fame from developing a firearm to fit "Little" Annie Oakley when he observed her having trouble with fit. This one features many of the things which made the British gun trade famous with excellent quality wood, horn butt plate and accents, and fine engraving on all surfaces. It is characteristic of British "carriage trade" guns that they were primarily made to hunt, but also decorated for display. The strikers operate freely, and it appears to lock up to the face tightly, and has little play on the hinge pin. This gun would look really good in the field with some hand-loaded bright brass shells. 10 Gauge

Price: $3,599.99
