1917 shipped US Army Colt M1911 semiautomatic pistol chambered in .45 Automatic. Included Gahimer letter details that it remains in its original condition. Brushed blue finish and serif lettering, correct for its manufacture date. Comes with a Colt factory letter confirming its original configuration and shipment to Springfield Armory on 31 July 1917. Also comes with a Gahimer letter detailing all aspects of the pistol. .45 Colt
