Description:

Colt Match Target Third Series pistol manufactured 1969, cal. .22 LR, SN: 233341-S, with blued finish, 4½ inch barrel, and bottom magazine release. Fixed front sight with fully adjustable Elliason rear sight. Left side of barrel marked with the Colt address in Hartford, Connecticut, followed by the rampant Colt / "MATCH TARGET". Left side of slide referencing the manufacturer and caliber. Full serial number on the right side of the frame. Checkered walnut target grips with thumb rest on left panel. Blued Second Series magazine notched for push button release. Complete with original two piece faux-wood shipping box with yellow Colt logo, factory end label reading "WOODSMAN MATCH TARGET AUTOMATIC PISTOL .22 LONG RIFLE 4½ INCH BBL. COLT BLUE", "233341-S" written in wax pencil on bottom of box, original / matching factory test target and instruction manual.

Condition:

Beautiful 98-99% bright original salt blue with a small scuff on top of the slide and fine superficial freckling on the grip straps, mostly on the back strap. Superficial handling marks on the right grip panel. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. VG+ original shipping box with a small rectangle of faux-wood coating having been removed from the left lower corner of the lid. Folds and minor staining of the original test target and instruction booklet.
