Original WWII Soviet manufactured SVT-40 10-round magazine in 7.62×54R, with arsenal renumbering and wear consistent with wartime service.
Description:
Soviet SVT-40 detachable box magazine, 10-round capacity, chambered for 7.62×54R, manufactured at Tula Arsenal during the WWII. Body shows a stamped serial number “2551” that has been scratched out, with a later electro-penciled Cyrillic “??5499” applied above, consistent with Soviet arsenal re-numbering practices. Flat removable floorplate with a Tula Arsenal star stamp.
Condition:
VG+ finish with oxidative patching and scuffing as one might expect from a service rifle in combat.
