This is a 1975 Marlin 336 chambered in .30-30 Winchester, JM marked with a Micro-Groove barrel, built in a time when these rifles were made with purpose and expected to be used.
The wood carries honest character without being abused or dressed up to be something it is not. The metal is clean and consistent, exactly what you hope to see when you get it in your hands. The action is smooth, positive, and predictable, just like a proper lever gun should be. It includes a leather sling that fits the rifle well and complements it without trying too hard.
