"Serial no. F0369. Manufactured in 1910 by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken, chambered in 7.65x53mm,29 ½"" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching. Approximately 90–95% of the original blue remains on the barrel, while the receiver is correctly in the white with sharp, crisp factory markings. The Argentine Model 1909 rifles are regarded as some of the finest Mauser contract rifles ever produced, known for their high level of fit and finish. The stock shows a few gouges on the right side just below the rear of the receiver but remains in very good overall condition. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
