New items added daily! Description: For sale we have a Bergmann Model 1910 pistol that was made in Belgium under German occupation during the First World War. According to Jan C. Still's book "Central Powers Pistols", Roughly 1,000 of these handguns were made under German occupation of Belgium and issued to the Imperial German military. The serial numbers of these guns falls between 15,000 - 16,000. These guns also feature three distinct proofs depicting an "apple in a diamond". They are found at the right rear slide, the right side of the receiver, and the right side of the barrel. This gun falls into the proper serial range and has the correct proofs. It also features a German unit marking on the front strap that reads "165. R. 10". This most likely stands for 165th Reserve Infantry Regiment, Company 10. The gun's finish rates roughly 75-80%. There is finish loss/light corrosion over all of the high edges, around the muzzle, on the left side of the barrel, along both slide rails, the grip straps, and various areas of the right side of the frame. The parts left in the white originally, show oxidation and patina now. The grips are dark but in good shape with a few small dents. The magazine is correct but is non-matching. Bore is nice with strong rifling. Price: $5,895.00 Curio/Relic: Yes Handgun Caliber: 9mm Largo (9mm Bergmann-Bayard, 9x23mm Largo) |
