Extremely rare parts lot for a Model 1865 first Alon conversion. Only 5000 total first Alin conversion muskets were made at Springfield following the civil war. Parts lot including an original 40 inch 58 caliber barreled action, the bore is dark and uncleaned also it has a chip missing where the hinges pin sits (see photos). Also a 30" 58 caliber barreled action with a good bore and some of the extraction parts (see photos). An original breach block (chip missing) and some parts. Also an original 1865 hammer.
