I have here for sale a 1898 Springfield Krag US Cavalry Carbine in .30 US cal. The stock is a '96 model style with a faint cartouche. Stock has a small sliver of wood missing at the upper left forward of the receiver, a small crack at the forward end of the magazine but is otherwise sound, barrel band spring is missing. No upper hand guard. Receiver and barrel have been re-blued. Carbine is in fine working order, bore is dark with visible rifling. $600 + FREE SHIPPING.
