I was gifted this from my cousin who was retired Military. After recieving it I sent it to a very respectable pistolsmith(now retired) for inspection, he did a basic clean and lube but also added that he thought it was unfired and possibly new?? - I have the correspondence on file ! Please examine the picts and determine for yourself the condition as I'm not a Colt collector (S&W) but in my opinion this is an exceptional piece.
