Description:
This is just a really nicely Refinished / Reborn 1927 - 2 3/4” 16 gauge chambered FN Belgium Browning Automatic-5. These pre-WWII 16GA Auto 5s were chambered in 2 9/16” but this one has been re-chambered for 2 3/4” and fitted with a Sweet Sixteen barrel with a multi-choke installed to allow you to dial in whatever choke you need.
- barrel is 26” overall and 24” to the multi-choke
- wood is beautifully refinished, chip and crack free
- soft and modern Decelorator Butt Pad installed
- receiver is nicely reblued
- original trigger assembly has been replaced with the later thumb safety rather than the original internal trigger / “Garand style” safety
- springs/bolt/carrier were all replaced and updated
This Browning A5 will turn 100 next year and will have no issues taking on another hundred years in the field.
