The bolt can be cycled for loading and unloading with the manual safety engaged. The Rascal single-shot rifle functions with Short, Long, and Long Rifle .22 rimfire cartridges. A windage- and elevation-adjustable peep sight and Savage's adjustable AccuTrigger® enables shooters to obtain exceptional accuracy. A lever mounted within the AccuTrigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, greatly minimizing the risk of accidental discharge.
