"Very Large 38" in total length and 31 5/8" blade. This sword has a dark brown patina with heavy pitting after being buried for hundreds of years. The hilt and pommel are decorated en suite with Viking Runes. This is a Type K sword in the Peterson typology and a IV in the Wheeler Typology.
