Description:
Standard length 28 inch octagon barrel chambered in 45-60 WCF caliber with an interesting bore appears to have been reamed or honed. Barrel is a plum/brown color with some wear to the high points on the corners. Some vise marks are present too. Sights include a blade front and sporting rear. Special order half length magazine. Receiver is mostly a plum/blue patina as well. Hammer and lever are a silver/gray color. Forearm wood has been lightly sanded and stained. Walnut stock has usual wear and handling mars with a rifle style crescent buttplate. Action is good. Complete with a copy of the Cody letter verifying features and the 1882 manufacture date..
